Ive got a broken sway bar i am planing on replacing. Also, planning on lowering the car. With the conversion kit. Is there a sway bar for the lowered car. Or would the replacement 1 1/4" work fine , when the cars lowered? Or do I need end links for a lowered car?

You should be fine with just a replacement swaybar. Nothing else needed. Ive never heard of anyone using anything else when lowering a vehicle.

The only adjustment you need to make is in the swaybar mounting bolts, the only bolts, the ones that bolt to the control arm. Adjust the bolts so the swaybar sits level when the car is at drive height. If you adjust it before you lower it, it'll be pitched upward. Adjust it after you lower, of course.

I went and bought grade 8 bolts for mine, the bolts that came with the swaybar wouldn't work? Which surprised me. I also cut my spacers in half to compensate, but I'm pretty low. You're probably not going that low.

my end links ended up WAY too high on my car, when i got my lowering kit, wish i had taken a pic, i bought the short links from SCP and bar was level afterward, the adjustment on the mounting bolts is only if you go with a bigger bar.

Hmm, come to think of it, my car has the lowered spring conversion, and I havent done anything to the sway bar. ;)

rides good, can u see the sway bar if it looks like it pointing up?

I had it on a drive-on lift the other day and glanced at it, it didnt look out of the ordinary. I actually looked at the endlinks, almost surprised that they arent the over-engineered POS's that the fronts are. They didnt look binded or anything.

I noticed a huge difference when I leveled my bar out, prob drove it ten thou miles after lowering before I noticed to fix it.

I wish I had the 1 3/8. Anyone want a 1 1/4? Pm me, I guess I'll move it to the priority list if there's interest. Point being, might as well go big. :)

if you go that large dia. in the rear, would u have to then change the from sway bar to compensate >

what end links come with the 1 1/4" you got?

I don't recall, it's been awhile since I've seen the originals!

No, I'm not touching the front. I love how the front doesn't push before the rear in the turns. The car's designed to do so for safety reasons with the factory bar, which is no fun.
