Ok I know this has probably been answered a million times before but here we go again how hard is it to replace the compressor, the front air struts, the rear air springs and solenoids, so basically everything. I am asking because my wife wants to know about Christmas presents so I was either thinking of a spring conversion kit or rebuilding the air suspension. What do you guys recommend?I like the air suspension but I like the fact of not worrying about finding my car slammed because something failed. I have read about the conversion kit and it does not seem hard at all. Thanks

The spring conversion was the best decision I ever made. It took me about an hour with a friend to do fronts and rear. If youre not very experienced, the air ride repair could take you 5 hours.
Replacing all of those parts is not difficult to do and require little more than a socket set and a jack. If you have any mechanical experience at all, even just a little, it shouldn't be difficult to do at all. In fact, it's easier than a traditional suspension to work on.
OK so back this suspension stuff. Obviously I did not get the Christmas present I wanted. But I am going to be ordering the American air suspension conversion kit with 1.5" drop. My question now is, is there anything I need to buy along with this kit or is all there. I know it says it includes everything to do the conversion but is there anything you guys recommend? Thanks. Oh yeah I will be replacing the A/C Electric Blend Door Actuator as soon as it gets here in the mail. Any hints on making this any easier?
