I've seen a couple of 03 Lses (V8s) with Ivory Pearlescent exterior with a kind of a medium grey interior - maybe it's called Dark Ash?
Is this a common combination do you think?
Do any of the 03s have very light color seats?
Thanks.

I think the lightest seat color is the light grey that came in all of years of LSs. Here is a picture of mine.

The Cashmere (not sure if that was avail in '03 though) cars have a very light coloured seat too, a very light tan not far off from the exterior.

BTW, that blue is sure nice, wish I'd had that colour choice (both interior and exterior) on my '05.......

I have a 2003 Sales brochure that lists only (3) interior color options: Dark Ash with Medium Ash, Espresso with Medium Light Stone, and Black.

Only Black, Silver Birch Metallic and Ceramic White EXTERIOR paints could get any of the (3) interior colors. Ivory Parchment exterior paint came with either Espresso with Medium Light Stone, or Black interiors. They also had a Light Parchment Gold Metallic exterior paint that came with only Espresso with Medium Light Stone.

To me the interior shown above with the dark/light gray is the best. I had that in my '02. My '05 now has all black and to be honest i dont care too much for it now. It shows any kind of dust or dirt anywhere....dash, floor, doors, seats. Requires almost daily upkeep to make it look good.

On a side note, I think its now funny to look at some of the luxury cars from the 80's. There was blue leather, burgandy, bright red , ugly brown. How did we make it out of that time??

I agree with you about the uncommon colors like blue or red, but some interior look real nice even in those colors. For instance, I love this one, although the seats are normal color.

Thanks, Great! photos, HyeLifeLS and Rodewaryer.

And thanks for digging out your 03 brochure PaulJK - very helpful. Cars I saw must have been Ceramic White.

With all the research I've done on these cars, I should know by now, but do the color combos Dark/Medium or Espresso/Light on the 03s refer to the color of the seats (lighter) and the carpet (the darker color) - or to the color of the seats (lighter) and the top of the door panels and top of the dash (darker)?

Do some 03s have light color carpet?

FLA02LS, think blue and red seats will ever make a comeback? :)

Here are few more pictures of cars with strange interior colors, none are my favorites but still. 645ci and M3.

Seems to me that the top of the doors and dash and the carpet are always the dark color and the bottom of the dash and upholstery are always the lighter, but I know of an upholstery shop in North Hollywood that will put in any color you want :)
