I found a 92 Thunderbird SC down at the wrecking yard with an automatic trans and a 3:27 Trak Lok differential. Half off day is coming up soon and for a whopping $35 I can have this thing in my 95 base and get rid of the peg leg. Besides added weight any cons to doing this super cheap mod?

honestly, its not even that much weight.
your speedo will be off a little, but its nothing a speedo gear can't easily fix.

Your mods would be what? 3.27 gears and you're worried about 6 ounces? You're starting to sound like a seasoned drag racer. Calm down.

More like 20 lbs but for $35 to get posi, sounds like a no-brainer. Grab the sway bar too if yours isn’t upgraded.
