sunroof rattle

So when I have my sunroof up i notice a rattle, and i've narrowed it down to the area where the interior lights are in front of the sunroof. is there a way to take the light housing down?

Do you mean when its in vent mode?If so,i have the same rattle and have read about it on here.Mine seems like the deflector because if i put a finger on it the rattle goes away.

If I tap on the headliner just above the interior lights, in the front of the car, when the sunroof is in vent mode, I hear something rattling but only when it's in vent mode, and/or open can't remember if it's both or not

I had a rattle in my s/r..It ended up being the metal bar the extends in the back of the unit from one side to the other. Held in by a screw on each side. If its loose it can also prevent the s/r from closeing entirely and rattle.

If you put it in vent mode you'll see it. But seeing as how its coming from the front i doubt its that. But check it anyways.
