The other day as I was closing my sunroof from the tilt up position I heard a loud POP! and it stopped moving. When i looked from the top I could see the tiny pieces of plastic that broke off the bottom of the channel rails that run along either side of the glass panel. OK, i'll just buy those two plastic rails, they can't be much, i mean they're just two little pieces of plastic right? WRONG! when i tell the guy at the ford dealership what I'm after, He says I have to buy the whole Track and Rail assembly, which retails at close to $800. OUCH! So I just found this on EBAY, check it out and tell me if You think it'll work.

from all those parts i'm sure one of them is what you need to fix your sunroof. good luck, but wait for other members to confirm to avoid buying the wrong part

Our sunroofs are most likely made by WEBASTO, you can find parts dealers in most cities. Or, Webasto has a web site.

I have done this in the past with a Taurus that needed a couple small plastic parts, probably like the ones you popped.

Good Luck,

Jim Henderson

see, youd never have this problem if you had one of those fake sunroofs that sell on ebay. but youd still have the look of a car with a sunroof.

I cant imagine the replacement or even the repair of the sunroof to be cheap or easy. If it was me, i have a $100 comprehensive deductible for the LS. I think i'd have a mystery tree branch or something somehow come crashing down on the sunroof thus needing its replacement.....get the drift?

haha

As long as your LS is the year those pats are advertised for I don't see why they shouldn't fit. But just know that its a royal PITA to take a sunroof out.
