sunroof break

well in my 93' mark 8 the sun roof just stopped working. went to walmart had it open on the way closed it went inside came back 10 minutes later hop in and i was quite disappointing to see it was not working! replaced the fuse still nothing. motor looked fine, i dont know much about it though, any ideas?

is it making any kind of sounds at all when you push the button or is the motor just silent. i would start by opening the back access panel in the head liner and manually cracking the thing shut so at least its closed will you get a chance to look at it.
