I have been trying to install the PAC SOEM-t line output converter into my factory stereo for too long.
I have a 2000,3.9 lS with alpine system and factory amp.
I have had no luck and cannot find any answers that will work. Will this loc work for my application or is the input capacity to low for the OEM amp outputs.
I have both striped wires (loc) hooked into the striped wire coming out of the factory amp, and the two solid wires (loc) hooked into the solid wire coming from the factory amp. Is the polarity switched in this application and would that keep my converter from working?
Which wire is positive coming from the factory amp?
I would think that even it the neg and pos were switched I would register power coming from the output of the loc on a multimeter.
Any thought or suggestions on where to look?
Also my factory subs are working.
