Ok so I am having misfires..I tryed to connect it to a scanner to find out which cylinder its coming from but however, every scanner I have tryed says it cannot connect with my car??? I am not sure on where to start to figure this out.. I wonder if it's just a fuse blown on my computer connector or something? Or if I just need a new scanner plug-in on my car?
Please help

The 12V accessory fuse (beside the lighter) controls the OBDII port, IIRC.

Alright thanks! That is probably it. I forgot to add to my post that my lighter port doesn't work either

AND it must be CANBUS Compatible. A regular OBD II scanner will not work completely with the LS.

I have an old OMNI Nova OBD II scanner and it will talk a little with the LS but mostly doesn't give me any useful codes. I think all it does that is useful is that it will reset the codes, but I forget since I don't use it anymore.

Good Luck,

Jim Henderson

CAN compatible is required for gen II, but not for gen I.
