Well this was about a year ago but I just registered on here recently although I've been a reader of this and m8.org for quite a while.

So, I'm on my way to work and the highway is movin at about 65 until the right lane comes to a stop and I slowed and stopped. Here comes this CRX around the corner doin like 70 and locks up his tires and BOOM he crashes into my rear end. --- Got hit so hard the back of my seat was forced all the way back, and rear end came off the ground.

With just as much force as he hits me, he slips out the right side, my car lands back on the ground and he just FLOORS it..goes flyin around all the stopped cars on the shoulder. So, I look for cars and hit the left lane and put it down. By the time I come around the corner I'm almost on him and already on the phone with the highway patrol telling them his license plate number.

I'm on the phone sayin IM CHASING HIM DOWN THE HIGHWAY....SO PISSED. I keep it down until I'm next to him when I yell PULL THE ** OVER. And he laughs, with his hood forced halfway up to his windshield..don't know how it stayed running.

I wanted to PIT him so bad but didn't want to mess up my car any more that it already was. Within like 2-3 miles a highway patrol was on us and the CRX finally pulled over. He was brought to jail and I stayed in contact with the prosecuting attorney because HE HAD NO INSURANCE....the state offers resitution but only if you demand it. So, instead of going to jail he was let off with probation on the condition that he pays to fix my car.

Luckily his CRX was so low to the ground he went under my read end. Sway bar end link broke, but that addco is a mean MF..it didn't even bend. Right exhaust pipe and muffler were bent to the ground and scraping almost everywhere. Bumper wasn't even in that bad condition...alot of scraping and a couple gouges. But, I had it all fixed/repainted by my dad's friend.

This was when they told me it was going to be about $1,500 to fix the exhaust!!! LOL. So, I decided it was time to convert the beast to duals..ordered up magnaflows, magnaflow X-pipe, and magnaflow 3.5" tips. After a couple shops telling me they won't cut out the Y and install the X, I found the shop to do it. They did a great job and was very satisfied. Sounds AWESOME. I'll put up an exhaust clip soon.

So, that's my story of how I finally decided to get exhaust. :)

Crazy :q:q:q:qin story man. At least some good came out of it. Im assuming you ended up getting money from the guy. I used to have a crx, but mine was nice and fully insured....lol

Yeah, he's been paying monthly. He is about halfway paid up.
I am glad I got exhaust out of it though, because I probably still wouldn't have gotten it done yet.

nah it was a regular white one, 1989 i believe.
Just a fool with no driving skills.

you are so lucky you are not hurt-I would have gotten a lot more than just the car being fixed. ohh my aching back ,the nightmares the horror the pain and suffering!!:D
