Hi everyone i have a 2000 Lincoln LS 93000 Miles ive noticed recently that that cruise control switch on the Steering wheel dosent seem to work as a matter or Fact all the controls on the steerting wheel dont work. I dont have the Factory stereo so i know the volume switch wouldnt work. Any ideas why the cruise control wouldnt work? I know that the cruise control worked before

ehhh... I'm pretty sure there is a write-up on how to do it, along with a part number... you'll have to do a search. I've fortunately not had to do this repair (yet). From what I understand, it's not difficult; within the scope of any average tinkerer. You guy's have automotive self-help area's right? I don't believe I've ever been to a Marine base, so I wouldn't know; but I do know that all army installations have an "auto crafts center"... if you guys have one of those and it's anything like the army has, you'll be good to go I'm sure.

yea we have a place on base where you can do mechanic work on your vehicles i will try to locate the part and take a trip down there and get it done

That clock spring is a p/n XW4Z-14A664-AA and has a list of $111.06 and a LVC cost of $93.29 plus ups.
I have plenty of stock ready to ship.

Definitely the clock spring. Had the same issue 4-5 months ago. Easy job to do. If the steering wheel gives you a bit of a hassle coming off, a rubber mallet carefully smacked on the backside around the perimiter of the steering wheel will get it off.
