Steering column noise

Hey. I have this noise in my steering column, it seems to be coming from where the joint is for the tilt steering. There is some up and down play, but no side to side. Is there someting in there that wears out and causes this? Bushings or anything?
I recently replaced my column with a used one. The old one was broken inside and wouldn't operate the ignition switch.

Uhhh. Did you make sure you tightened the 4 nuts that hold the column to the dash support brace? Maybe they worked themselves loose? dunno....

I did double check everything before I put the covers back on, but you never know...things do sometimes work themselves loose.
I am taking the covers off this weekend to take a look.

so how hard was that job? i need to do it this weekend myself.

Yeah, and make sure you use good threadlocker on all of those bolts.

It was pretty easy actually. I can't think of any part of the job that was a problem. Take your time, you'll get 'er done. You'll need torx sockets.
