Are there any plain black steel wheels in our bolt pattern that would fit our cars? Ive never seen a cougar/tbird with hubcaps, but im not 100% sure.

Taurus has the right pattern, but the wrong offset. Do you wanna make a police Mark or something?

I believe the taurus offset is close enough to work

Nah not a police mark... i used to have a 66 mustang that had steel wheels and dogdishes on it- sort of became my look. Ive been toying with the idea for a while now..

Hey Jeffguy, I looked into that too. My original rims on my 94 Mark are all pitted. I keep my snowtires on them but they look crappy in the winter. I went to our local Ford/Lincoln dealer. I wanted to put their black Police Crown Vic rims on it with the silver caps. Since my car is black too I thought it would be a real cheap alternative to buying another set of aftermarket rims or keep switching tires every snow season. Ford said they wouldn't fit. Since we get very few major snowstorms here in upstate NY anymore, I just leave my good rims on all year long now.

You need special lug nuts that have a lip on them that the center caps clip on to. I don't know if they will fit the Taurus rims but I did have some on 15" steel rims on an older Vic.

You need collared lug nuts and you would need to get the all metal caps so you could bend the mounting tabs to fit right.

t-birds did come with steel wheels, i think only the first couple of years came with them, pretty rare, ive only seen maybe 2 or 3 with them........
