Having an issue with this LS, seems to be getting worse every time I start this car. I have another car so I dont drive it often, but about a month ago, suddenly, car started running like crap.

When starting car, idles a bit rough. At first when the problem started, it seemed like just misfiring etc. Then about a week later I drove to local store, and first 0-15 MPH I had no power at all, pedal to the floor, the thing barely wanted to move. Once I got to around 15mph, RPMs would get a little high, let off gas and seemed to drive fine, unless I got to a stop sign, it would be repeated, no power till I got to speed again.

The next time I drove it, it was the same, but this time, when I turn the wheel all the way to one direction the car would stall. Same thing with the 0-15MPH speed issue.

And finally, today I hopped in the car, same issue with the steering causing a stall, but now putting it in drive would stall, unless I accelerate in neutral and throw it into drive from there. I drove it around the block, and had no power at all....none. fastest I was able to get was about 15MPH before I had to stop for a stop sign, and same issue after passing stop sign, no power at all. Takes probably 30 solid seconds just to get to about 10 mph.

Any clues? I'm frustrated with this vehicle already and outta ideas.

Currently no check engine light because I swapped battery last month (havnt driven much since) but prior to that I was getting a 'random misfire' code.... but I find it hard to believe a couple bad plugs/coils alone could be the issue, or am I wrong?

well, i believe you are wrong.
find and fix the miss.
i suggest you replace the coils and plugs, and make sure your valve cover gaskets aren't leaking.

Yes, you are wrong about the misfire. Also, you may have let it misfire long enough that your catalytic converters are clogged.
Believe it or not, not all LSes are exactly alike. You could get better advice it you would tell us the year of your LS and which engine (V6 or V8) it has.

When I had two coils completely fail I could not go over 50 MPH and had a significant power-loss and flashing CEL.

Thank you so much for responses... And you're right... Probably would have helped to throw out there that I have a 2000 v8 :)
