Is there anyway to adjust the clutch on a 2002 V6 LS Sport
(5speed ofcourse) Clutch is starting to slip after 137000 kms. Car is never driven like a douche....ever

I need to squeeze a few extra kilometers out of it as pressure plate is back order.

Any info would be welcome

Two things: First, the clutch on the LS is self adjusting and the only type of adjustment at all is to bleed the slave cylinder. you can do this with the transmission in, there should be a dust cover that you need to remove to access the bleed valve. Top off fluid in the brake reservoir, you might just want to check that first.
Second, why do you need to replace the pressure plate? Shop manual does not call for it to be replaced with the clutch. I have replaced clutches before (Not on my LS) and not replaced the pressure plate and I have had no performance issues. Others that have worked on manual transmissions might have a different opinion, but if the car is down because of a pressure plate back order and you do not have an ETA, then maybe just replace the clutch and live with it. Personally when my clutch goes, I do not plan to replace the pressure plate with it.

I am not going to do the repair myself and will be paying for labour. I would rather replace everything then find out I will need a new pressure plate after its back in the car. Its 8 hours of labour so I dont want to be doing the job twice.

I will check out my fluid levels, Is there a procedure for bleeding the system?

Thanks for the feed back
