will springs for a v6 fit a v8 ? i searched here and google i assume its been answered on here just cant find it

a question for your question, why wouldn't you buy the correct springs, even if they did fit, if you had a problem it would all be on you. do you have a great deal on new springs just for a v6? i would imagine that they are the same seeing as that would save the factory hundreds of thousands on tooling and materials over a model year but i don't know.

i found a set of sprint springs that they no longer make anymore and this guy had them off a v6 so thats why i was wondering if there is any sort of difference

i think if your buying after market they will be the same i dont think sprint had different spring rates for them but the cup size where the spring seats may be different i would go to a dealership and see if they have both springs and compare if you can or an auto parts store

NO they are not the same, you can't use them........Now whats the guys number so I can let him know this too just so he doesn't sell it to a v8 guy by mistake :shifty:
I remember that question being asked before and yeah I believe they are the same. Eibachs are also listed as 00-06 all models v8 and v6.Jump on them man,if you were debating whether eibachs or sprints, just buy sprints and if you want to go with eibachs, I'm sure a you can find someone willing to drop a pretty prenny for sprints since they are no longer made. It's a business deal or a great find for your ls either way.

what are you getting at here?
For all we know someone bought oem's marked as sprints and is now selling their "sprints". Well it's easier to tell on the sprints, they're purple right?
