Well, I started my conversion Sunday night and finished it Monday night. Took my time, did it right, about 4 hours per evening including setup and cleanup.

I have to say, I kinda like it. For isolaters in the rear I used some spare upper rear foxbody spring isolators... fit perfect.

The front sits perfectly. Not too high, not too low. I love it.

As for the rears:

The bottoms of my springs weren't flat, and it actually makes the rear sit about a half inch higher, which I don't care for, but I will take the rears back out and cut a smidge off of them and get it down to where I want it. The ride didn't change too greatly. I would say the car has a tiny bit more bounce to it, like a coil sprung car would have. I def want a stiffer shock in the rear now.

I had to weld a new bolt in the metal upper spring locator on the drivers side... looks like the old one broke during the wreck my parts car had been in.

I'll post pics when I get home. Looks decent pretty good actually. Now I have a little more peace of mine while driving.

So far so good!

If you take out the spring isolator / perch, it should go down 3/4". You won't notice the perch missing - it's like that on my car.

Its not even 3/4" thick... maybe a 1/4. Its an upper isolator from a fox. Stock rubber, not poly. I think if I cut a wedge shape out of the end of the coil to make the coil sit flat it should sit down better.
