Do you have to be extra careful when going over speed bumps? LS's are extremely heavy.....every now and then I forget and go over a bump a little too fast....

I am just making sure it's not just "my car" if that makes any sense @ all

They aren't all that heavy, do some other inspecting around your struts. Maybe they are going out???

But you shouldnt have that big of a problem, I say just as average as most other cars.

LS is not a heavy car, just low to the ground to begin with. The LS is the only car I have ever owned that I can not fit my floor jack under without lifting it by hand about 1/2inch.

Wow, I never had that problem either:)

i have to be careful going over speed bumps or else i will bottom out. learned that the first week of the car and since haven't bottom'd out. lately i've been going over speed bumps a little faster with no problems. to my knowledge its best to go slow as possible over speed bumps.

I have a 1st GEN sport. My floor jack is a 3 ton, and it won't slide under the car at the jack points!

Mine does, and the scissor jack that came with don't need to be down all the way to fit either.

I have the sport so I don't see why others with the first gen have a problem.

This is weird.

Sure is,........ thats why they are there in the first place no matter how low your car is.
