I Did A Search On Spark Plugs But Couldnt Find A Current Thread. So I Was Wondering What Type Of Plug Would Work Best 2002 Ls 29678 Miles V8. I Was Thinking Of Getting The Denso Pugs Because I Had A Honda Civic Si And I Used Them And Worked Out Really Well. Sorry If This Was Already Asked But Im Knew To The Forum So And Help Would Be Great Thanks.

Nothing has changed much since the old threads. The stock replacement is the way to go. They are double platinum.

Two things...there isn't any hp in plugs. Use the ones designed for the car. The factory plugs will have two different part numbers...one for each side. The replacements will be just one part number.

Second, at 30,000 miles, your plugs will look just like new. I'll betcha! If you can't stand it, pull them out, check the gap, and toss 'em back in. You're just throwing good money away on new plugs.

Thanks

Thanks For The Info You Guys. You Just Saved Me A Lot Of Money. Denso Plugs Are Not Cheap Just Wanted To Make Sure I Get The Right Stuff. I Love Lincolns And I Didnt Want To Treat It Like A Honda, You Know Put A Bunch Of Parts On In And Call It Custom. Thanks Again.

I found this out the hard way...I opted for the Denso for $11 a plug on sale!! Well about 3 weeks later the car was hesitating and misfiring really bad...Took it to the mechanic and he said it wasnt getting a steady spark on cyl 1, well I went to the ford dealer, bought oems replaced all the densos and the car runs better than ever!! Just stick with oem my mechanic said, they designed the car to run with them so thats the best thing for it...
