I have next weekend off and want to replace my igniters and spark plugs on my 2004 V6. Is there a certain spark plug i should use? Someone told me i should only use motorcraft or ill get misfires or something..... I don't think its true but if someone from hear tells me diffrently ill listen. Thanks

Motorcraft. But I've never tried another brand on the LS.

Stay with OEM, the plug the motor was tuned around, unless you add nitrous or a SC and need to change temp.

If im going to order spark plugs should i replace all the ignition coils as well while i do it or are they really necessary to do. Also is Alanisdeals good to buy from off ebay.

Every vehicle I've had I upgraded from the standard Motorcraft Platinums to the Bosch Platinum IR Fusions and saw power, smoothness, and fuel economy increases. Just put a set in my '04 LS at 63k miles. I had never noticed before changing them how much vibration I had under full load (entering the interstate pulling a hill). Once I changed them it was a night and day difference.

As far as coils, I typically change them on an as needed basis one at a time, but if you can get a good deal on a full set, why not, beats taking all the crap off top of the engine multiple times.

Can't tell ya about the Ebay seller, I typically steer clear of Ebay.

Yes, ALANISDEALS. I know some members have had issues with coils they've gotten other sellers, but none so far from alanisdeals.
