Sounds like a rough warm up

does anyone else's LS's sound sortof "rough" i guess as the engine warms up, under acceleration its fine but during decceleration it sounds i guess like sandpaper rubbing on something, theres a significant difference in sound between when the engine is warmed up and still cold

My engine does stupid things when I first start it cold.
The RPM first goes high, then low, then medium (all within 5 seconds).
Never anything like what your talking about though.

What your LS' engine is doing at startup is normal, fuzzy.

Mine sounds like that. I think it is the belt. I will be replacing it with the next oil change, so we will find out.

k thanks, i only have 18k on engine now so idont think its the belt, just the way the engine is made, didnt know if it was a concern or oil not fully lubricating moving parts due to the temp of the oil hasnt been fully reached
