Since I've been able to remove the door panels, I was wondering if anybody has used the noise reduction spray. They sell 2 different types on Amazon (only place on the net I can find it). Is it worth the effort ? T.I.A.
depends on the sound your trying to reduce?... spray would be difficult without a barrier put up... If you are looking to reduce road noise... need to start under the carpet
Thank you both for your reply.
Seeing the grey plastic sound proofing on the doors I thought spraying the inside of the panels would be a fairly easy upgrade. Do you think this is a waste of time without doing the floor? I am trying to reduce road noise. I'll probablly give it a shot, the spray is cheap enough.
I used it on my old ford LTD, undercoating spray, sprayed the wheel wells, reduced the noise. Most noise comes from your tires. Find a tread pattern that blocks the channels coming from the center of the tire, as this is were noise is generated.
