something I noticed today......Weird

I noticed today when I was cleaning my car that there is an air valve inside the wheel well. It looks like the older cars that had air ride suspension where you would fill it at the gas station before cars had compressors. I guess the question is, and I am sure its a stupid one, but what is it for?? I am assuming the LS does not an air ride.......so why is it there??

no air ride. post a picture of what you're talking about. if it's driver's side front it could be fuel or A/C line.

i am almost 100% positive you are refering to the a/c fill

It is on the passenger rear and driver rear near the front of the wheel wells. As soon as my wife gets home with the camera I will post a picture.

I did buy the car used, 2002 with 37,xxx miles. I also noticed a bolt in the same general area of the "air fill". Any other opinions would be great. I will get pictures up tomorrow hopefully, Cleveland weather has been kind of crappy lately so I am sure they won't turn out well. Hopefully tomorrow.

Are you talking about an emissions canister or vacuum reservoir?
