Sold "Ebony & Ivory" today

I had it up for sale and forgot the post was still up. Got a phone call last week and a guy offered me full asking price ($3500) and said he would travel by bus 10 hours to pick up. I went to the bus stop and while i was there someone called the house and asked my wife if the car was still for sale. She said where i was and it was around the corner from his house. The first guy never showed and i still sold it for full asking price! It's an older gentleman who plans to take good care of it. I am sad to see it go, but it is one less car in the yard while i'm deployed. It's definitely not my last Mark VIII. I'll be lurking and searching for a nice Chamelion or Black/Black LSC. Maybe an evergreen frost to match the wife's Navigator.

The next one is going to be more of a toy/weekend driver. I never got a ticket in any of my base models. That's saying a lot considering my driving history. I blame my sudden urge to drive an LSC on you, and a few other people on this forum. It looks so good for pictures. Trying to get ahold of a chamelion owner in Bristol PA. So far, no answer......
