So i got my sniper two weeks ago, besides being a nightmare to get onto my computer (my laptop has never been updated) the install was so smooth and went through great. I have a few bugs to work out (anti-theft light) etc but with the tune its a night and day difference. Car feels GREAT under throttle and shifting...to bad its raining or i could really get on it...decided to come back home when I almost sat it sideways into a curb on half throttle with the TC on! ..:steering

Thats cool. You want to try my tune? What pcm code is yours. Maybe you cannt use mine. I'm interested in seeing some times. I ran a 1.95 60' sunday NA. Now we can get some good competions for the gen 2 NA times. Your car should run real strong with the low miles you have compared to my old beater. HAHA

Its a RKK6 code on my 97. I cant wait to bring it to atco in the next few weeks, if you arent busy we should try and get a couple guys on a nice saturday to come down. Maybe go out for some drinks or something after. Plenty of places for you and whoever to crash, i live 5 minutes from the track.

and i dunno bout calling your car an your old beater...lol that thing is mean and was my next choice in color if i didnt find my black one. Its funny you caught back up to us, we stopped at subway for like a half hour after leaving and the gps was reading 115 down the turnpike on the way back :D

How do you like those 4.30's? Cant decide on which to go with 373, 410, or 430 ratio. Thats the next thing im doing to the car. Traction lock and gears. :D
 
4.30's are perfect... wouldn't think about putting in less than 4.30 in a Mark VIII...

Your code is different than mine. You'll do fine. I would like to get together at the track again but fishin seasons starting too. If its not cars its boating. Also alot to do for the wedding!
Any way that was cool after e-town we stopped and ate pizza right down the road. Yeh my car hitt the limiter at 110 on the road thats all she had. I really need to do some thing with that. I've got something up my sleeve for next time.
 
do u have a tune file with a fix for the flashing light 98LSC32V?

thats the only thing off with mine...........










i wish i had a track down here :( ............Fontana is 2 hrs away :mad:
 
Nope, don't have a fix. Honestly it doesn't really bother me too much, it goes off after 5-10 minutes of driving. There's other odds and ends about this 11 year old car that I need to fix first...

thats cool, dont bother me either, i dont see it anyway..... since i am the one with the piece of tape covering it........lol :D

We should go to Fontana sometime dude! That is, after I get my intake finished and get a new tune. Its 2 hours away for me too.
 
kid, seriously, enough. Watching you swing on SCT's nuts in every thread related to tuning is getting old. SCT is better, we got it.
 
The Sniper setup works pretty good, it works in both my Mark LT and my Mark VIII thats why I like it, and whatever you do to you car, you can just go and Set it up back on the computer and re flash the car, i dont even care if it flashes the Anti Theft light i covered it with a peice of tape for now, just Talk to talk to the Guys at Sniper im sure they can fix the problem.
