today I tried to replace that fuse I keep blowing(no.11)and my car started smoking under the hood, but I couldnot see where it was coming from except maybe under the the fender well or close to the frame on the driver side of the car,its the fuse that works the flashers and brake pressure switch and brake lamp, could this problem be the cruise control recall?? cause I thought my car was on fire, and if I didnot turn off the key and pull the fuse it could have been a fireball

If you've not had your car in for the recall do it soon! It does sound like it may be the pressure switch. If you can get in there to look, disconnect it or tow it to the dealer...

on 93 i believe under the brake booster
whatever it is get it in for the recall, its free, and they might see wahts wrong with your car and let you know.

you are right it was the brake switch recall and I had it fixed today at the dealer for free, thats why my fuse was poping and if not poping it was smoking under the brake booster cause the switch was burning up and melted

When a fuse keeps blowing, the car is trying to tell you something.
