size of drillbit for ddm hids?

i see on my 2006 ls im going to have to drill through the cover to run the wires through on my ddm tuning hid kit. what size drill bit did you use? cause it looks to me like im going to have to use a bit atleast the size of the connector that goes to the ballast. any ideas?

I used a cup saw. Mine from vleds came with a seal and I just matched the size

The connectors on mine from DDM can come apart to fit through the hole. I forgot what size hole I drilled but it had nothing to do with the connector, just the grommet.
