I just purchased a pre-owned 2004 Lincoln LSE that has the Sirius radio option installed in it. It didn't come with any manuals or info for the Sirius
radio operation. Does anyone know the best way to obtain the esn # or where to get a manual. I might add this car doesn't have the navigation option. Thanks for any help

lets see pics of the car!! Love the LSE's

sorry, cant help you on the esn part, dont even know where to guide you.

Just purchased this car about 3 weeks ago. Sure love this ride.........

thats is a really beautiful car. the only thing i can think of is that it would on the actual radio unit itself if you removed it. if not id take it back to the dealer and have them find out. this might be a stretch but you could try calling sirius and they might be able to look it up by the cars vin in some offbeat way. once you get than howard stern is worth the entire membership in itself

oh and i know before i activated my sirius, if i had it turned on, it would only play a default welcome station and display the number to call, and the esn under it to activate it. try hitting your sat button and see if it scrolls across or displays at all.

It will be on the actual sirius tuner module as well. The tuner "should" be under the carpet on the trunk LID. But many installers tuck it under the sidewall carpet in the trunk.

Thanks for all the suggestions on my inquiry, and I really appreciate your
compliments on my new LSE. I finally got the sirius "esn" to display on the
receiver-by pushing the SAT button and the preset one button at the same
time. Had to play with it a couple times, and it finally work. By the way, this
forum sure shares a lot of good information. Thanks again......

If the Sirius unit is installed per the instructions, it's going to be nigh on to impossible to see it. The ESN is on a sticker on the Sirius unit, which should be mounted on the driver's side of the trunk behind the carpet, between the wall of the trunk and the rear quarter panel (it's behind the panel, so you shouldn't be able to see much of it). It's a bit bigger than a paperback novel, maybe 6"x4" by 1" thick, of steel/aluminum construction, and should be mounted on sheet metal stand-offs.

It should only take the removal of four trim screws to remove the unit, but I think you can get the ESN through the radio display. Call the folks at Sirius, and they'll be able to tell you.

I wish I knew anything about that kind of stuff, but that car is beautiful.
