Should i clear everything?

clear the headlights and markers and tint fog lights just a bit

I would say clear everything. I have a black LS too and I think on a black car everything looks good cleared. I'm going to send my lights in to Ken and let him do the angel eyes and paint my bezels for me. The only thing though the clear bumper markers are on back order. Just my five cents.
 
I bet it'd look pretty good with those things cleared. I wouldn't tint the fog lights though. Nice job on painting the eyebrows, by the way. I saw your thread on that earlier today and thought it looked pretty slick.
 
I think you should just "smoke" them. I LOVE smoked orange markers with a black car. ... IMO
 
Id say smokem. If you dont mind the light reduction from the fogs. You could get the 03+ fogs they kind of give that effect.
 
:D thanks for everyones input i should see if ken will do angel eyes for me too if he will ill see if he can pop out the ambers.
 
Yeah, I know, everyone is probably going to get all pissy with me about this comment, but :D ... Why is everyone obsessed with "smoking" the fogs? I guess if you don't care about using the fogs to light up the road, then it's fine. But given that I've seen a fair amount of posts about people using the HID kits in their fogs, I would think people would like to use them to light up the road. I've even seen posts where people talk about "smoking" or tinting their actual headlight lenses. :confused:

lol i could care less if they were there or not, they would stick out too much if i didn't tint them just a bit. i hardly ever turn them on.
 
I think you are just finding excuses to show off that shiny new ride you have there. I'm Jealous!! My black LS has not ever looked that good. I'm getting some supplies gathered to clay bar and wax her up but damn your car looks good!

Seriously though... lose the orange. Keep 'em clear or smoke them a bit.

Yeah, which is why you see some people (have a better word, but won't use it :D) driving around with 5% tint on their front windshield. :rolleyes: :D

I understand, I have tinted/smoked looking turnsignal lens and bumper lens but foglights and the entire headlight is to far IMO.

But, I think if Kyle would get the % of tint just right like in the PS I think that would be ok.

I would do that rather then take the reflector out Rockstar.

I sent you a PM on it a few days ago when the thread was started;) .


Other then me painting the chrome housing behind the reflector lens I know lots of people used that crap in a can to do the ambers and that usualy turns out to dark for some peoples taste or those that are into it just being smoked.
 
yea i think i did but in a roundabout way - wasn't sure if i just made it too wordy, i got the PM and checked it out and it looks great, but i was just wondering about other options... especially cuz my cars not black, just really dark green.. so it wouldn't be a black back..
 
yeah, i dont want to tint the fogs so you cant see them, just so they're easier on the eyes.

i eventually wanna get the black front clip instead of the chrome one.
 
i'd say pop the lens out, get the clear side lenses and then lightly tent them and the fog lights. just my .02
