I just replaced the shocks on my Lincoln LS 2000 and the rubber bumper cushions were shot because my shocks were totally gone. Been gone for quite some time now. I couldn't make it to the store to get new ones so I installed the shocks without them because I had the car already apart. I installed Sachs Touring Shocks for a better ride.
Do I need to go back and try and re install them somehow, or will they be fine without them?
It was not a fun job to do alone so I am hoping they will be fine just they way I left them.
