Shift kit

I was looking for a shift kit for the 1st gen ls v8 and I read that transgo was a great brand. Has anyone installed it and have good luck with it?

I am also going to be looking into this... I had a 99 chrysler sebring before the LS and they have terrible transmissions. I had a trans go shift kit put in and never had another problem out of it. If trans go makes a shift kit for our cars I will most definitely be putting this in.

I have the transgo kit in my 02. It firms up the shifts a little. Install a new shift solenoid while you are in there so you never have to drop the transmission pan again.

The TransGo kit is a nice improvement for the low cost, especially if you are going into the pan anyway to replace the solenoid pack. I have a ton of photos from when I did it if you end up needing any help walking through it.

Good. I'm thinking of doing it around late April early may before my trip back to Florida after school, so your help would definitely be appreciated. Just needed to know before I set my mind on it.
