A few blemishes in the paint that worry me, are they fixable? Also that gap in my console... I have no idea how to fix that. I have taken everything out and it all fits in just fine. Just that gap is there... Kind of annoying.

my center console looks just like that, maybe not quite as big but close and ive also taken things apart but nothing has closed it yet, must just be like that for some reason. as far as the paint i also have spots like that but i am no paint or detail expert so i couldnt help you. a few guys on here are pretty well taught on the fine art of detailing so look in some of those threads.

Yeah I've looked at those detailing threads, and I'm so jealous at how their rides look so perfect lol. But I never see anything about fixing chips & scratches etc...

with paint chips and deeper scratches, there are some things to do to make it look a lot better without respraying the panel.

get touchup paint from paintscratch.com. that should get you the closest match.

next, clean the area well with isopropyl alcohol, or kleen strip prepall, to remove any wax residue. using a plastic toothpick, carefully fill in the scratch/chip, taking care to stay away from the painted surface around the defect.

make sure to slightly overfill, leaving a little "hump". after it cures, very carefully wetsand the hump down with 1500-2000 grit wet sandpaper, until it is level with the surrounding paint. then use rubbing compound to polish out the sand marks.

this should make it a lot less noticeable. let me know if you have any other questions!

The little chip on the roof has a little rust in it. How do i get that outta there so it doesn't become a problem later? Also my passenger side mirror is really faded and paint is chipping and flaking bad. It looks like it has been replaced and painted very poorly. I will post some pics later. I'm at work now.
