So I finally picked up my first LS tonight....an 02 and it needs a bunch of little stuff...first things first is the sunroof is all jacked up. I took it clear apart and found the track was bent a touch which jammed it and pulled the plastic slides apart....I need to find both of them but I'm not 100 percent sure how it goes back together because of how things were bent up. Anyone have any pics of theirs apart? I got a parts blowup today at the dealership but it doesn't really tell me anything.

Probably best to find the service manuals (they pop up on ebay regularly), or get a membership to an online database.
The Gen 1's are showing up in junkyards a lot, so you should be able to find a replacement sun roof.

I had a similar issue with my sunroof on my 01. Basically a friend of mine tried to open it when it was about 20 degrees outside, the sunroof was frozen shut and it broke the track. If it's just your track you can buy a replacement kit for it and just swap that portion out.

My older brother actually broke the brace for the sunroof while installing it so I just decided to get a new sunroof unit. Let me know if you need any pieces in particular, I still have the old unit sitting in my garage.

I need the pieces on both sides with the plastic tracking. The parts the glass bolts to and the plastic bar that moves the headliner.I'll post pics tonight.

Benny, let me know if u end up going through Tdub or Brycebw for the headliner parts. Whoever you don't use, I need to talk to them. My headliner is not sliding as it is supposed to.

OK guys here are the pics of what I need....I need both parts that are sticking up and the little spring piece on each one(comes together) and I need the plastic parts that engage the headliner piece.

If you look in picture number two you can kinda see where the motor slides pulled out through the plastic. And I'm sure in number 3 you all see a pic of an LS....I was at the local dealership I get my parts from and they were throwing the advertisment out so I saved it....here it is....framed even.
