I got mail the other day from the Secretary of State for my license tab renewal $152 for the Lincoln my girlfriend is paying $50 something for her Toiletta where do they come up with these numbers

got mine last week and it jumped up to 100 from 79 last year...I cant imagine 152..With all the sh!t thats going on you'd think the goverment would help us out alittle.

Florida nearly doubled all their fees last fall.
All of these states are bankrupt and scrambling to find ways to soak the productive classes in order to buy more power with the parasitic class and the unions.

I lost a copy of one of my titles. It's going to be about $100 for them to print me a copy.

Hey I live in Toronto Canada and for my tag I have to pay 72.00 for the tag and a car owner tax of 60 plus every second year I have to get a emission test for 35.00 and if I do not pass I have to pay a min of 400.00 to get a temporary pass.

If I live outside of the city and commute in I do not have to pay for the privilage of owning a car. Oh and then there is the Toll highway that is privately owned, if you owe them money you cannot renew you tags or your plates the Government collects for them.

The government needs to stop "helping" and just stop spending. Then they'd cease to feel the need to gouge us at every opportunity.

My truck has Tennessee tags, it was 26 and car has Kentucky, it was 117 i believe.

My '96 was only like $28 bucks this year. My Explorer was only $8. The '97 was $150 for title change and tags when I bought it. I figure renewal next year will be about $30. Inspections are only $13.60 even for the '96 and '97 because they're registered in a non-OBD2 county in NC. I guess I should count myself lucky.
