Torrie and ILLS in particular - can you tune a livewire like an xcalibrator? the site says it supports all the same features and tunes but also has a few extra bells and whistles, i was just curious to hear it straight from a tuners mouth.
i kinda saw it briefly touched over in a few posts but i was lookin for something a bit more concrete.

Quik LS gave a good bottom line description:

the LiveWire delievers the same tunes, reads/clears dtc and does the pass-through datalogging - exactly the same as the XCal2.

The LiveWire brings the realtime display on the device, can estimate HP/Torque, 0-60 times, ...etc - not a good as a G-Tech but close.

So only purchase the LiveWire if you intend to mount it up in the car and use it interactively - if you are only going to load tunes and read DTCs - save the money and use the XCal

The tunes that go into the Livewire, X1, X2, or X3 are the exact same between the units. If I tune an 00 LS V8 I can make the tune for the car and then load it into any of those units like normal.

I will agree with what Quik LS was quoted on. The Livewire is a very nice unit when you use all of its features. The only catch is that VERY few people really do use enough of its features to see enough benefit to pay more for it.
