SCT Flasher Help

I got this flasher from a friend that bout it to tune his mustang. Wondering if I can use it to flash my 06 ls v8. Its has a USB port on the bottom of it and some kind of serial port on the top.

Go to www.sctflash.com for more information and download instructions. It is a SCT II, I have the same for loading custom tunes, adjusting tune, reading CEL codes, and clearing trouble codes. The "serial port" cable plugs into your OBD-II port under the drivers side dash.
