a vinyl top LS.. it was black with a blacktop in vinyl type sh!t.. like a caddilac eldorado wannabe or something.. wish i nabbed a pic but i was driving.. anyone else seen anything like that?

The carriage top was a dealer add on mostly coming out of Florida, Lincoln reprimanded the dealers because that was not the image direction they wanted the Lincoln LS to go. Most of the carriage tops appear to be of high quality and installation; the dealers even had a plaque stating Special Model.

Most agree they look out of place.

Someone recently posted his. But it was when he got into a accident.

Well could it look as bad as the Presidential Lincoln Mark VIII... also a Dealer option that could be added at the dealership...Hideous (my opinion)

I always thought you old people liked that kind of stuff:confused:

:p

there was some old guy that lived about a mile down the road from me that had the exact same LS as my first one except for his was the covered wagon version. i always amazed me how much it could ruin the look of the car. and of corse my friends would always ask my why I didnt get the convertable!

I supized dat ting aint got all'roun 5 starz yo!

God day-um! Yall see dem hoes?

:yuck:

Lincoln's old V.P. of Marketing, Jim Rogers, threatened to break the legs of dealers that put those disgusting things on the LS. He told them they could do anything they wanted to the other Lincoln cars, but they couldn't touch the LS!

The hell with the switch! I want me some dragon pedals!

I saw one today for the first time at a body shop on a tow truck. it was white with a blue rag top. So ugly. Good thing it was wrecked and off the streets!

the LS has good lines everywhere including the pillar so the roof ruins that. It might be less wrong if they chose better color combos. I had a 94 t-bird with one of those roofs and even though it was a granma top, it looked better than the plain pillar.

Yeah buddy!!! He's got all the right stick on crap to ruin the car with. And the top is hideous as well.

u think all the wood grain interior came like that, some of it looks like a peel and stick
Hell no they didn't! That's somma that nice stick-on Fwood grain that is damn near impossible to take off. Ruins the interior IMO. When I shop for cars, if one has that stuff I just keep on walking to the next car in the line.

This is the standard wood grain interior. For th 1st gen cars at least.

Even though the dash trim is fake wood, it still looks better than stick-on IMO.

Pluuuuus 1!

I hate when I see people use more wood grain than what the car comes with stock. Its just stupid!
