Running lean

[2002_lincolnLS]

Issue, P0171 and P0174 Lean on both banks and no other codes. Intermittent issue. Runs fine, just annoying having the light pop up

v8
110,000 miles
new fuel pump and strainers
new pressure sensor
filter: newer
New O2 and catalyst sensor on bank two

Doesn't seem to idle or run poorly

I am thinking a leak somewhere to cause it to run lean on both sides. I plan to test this theory today if the rain slows down. Should I use starter fluid to test the lines or any better spray type items?

Not sure what to check after that, that is not to to invasive. Have to go to work in the morning so don't want to break some obscure part that no one has in stock. I only do that kind of work on Friday nights so there is plenty of time to get parts.

Last time those codes popped up on my scan tool
It was the hose by the mass airflow sensor
The hose was coming off from the clip

Im having this issue as well only one of the codes though, same here runs fine but the cel light is really getting on my nerves! I did do some poking around after reading this thread and did notice this..

That little piece (not sure what it is) Does not sit in there perfectly because the grommet that looks like it holds in place is broken?

would this cause the code?

What is it called???

Actually I had tht issue with the grommet on the other side of that one, I will check and see if this one is bad now. I was able to find a grommet at oreillys for the other line

funny my 03 exby has the same codes right now... wonder if i have the same problem?

I was blessed with P0136 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 2) today.
Erased it ... see what happens, I was on it hard before it came on.
