I'm sorry if this is a noon question or whatever you guys wanna call it but I just bought a 2002 Lincoln LS sport with v8 and I was curious of all of the routine maintenance you guys did to your cars? It's my first actual car worth giving a :q:q:q:q about so I wanna make sure everything is up to date. Btw it has 68,000 miles

I'd suggest you search around first and you will find your answer. Look at the sticky threads.

Do you know any of the service history?

Assuming you know absolutely no service history on it, with that mileage, I would have the transmission flushed with a filter change, check the brake pads and rotors, do an oil change with good 5W20 synthetic (or Motorcraft 5W20 semi-synthetic) and a quality filter (no FRAM bull:q:q:q:q -- Purolator or Motorcraft are good), change out the fuel filter (probably never been done before), and you might want to replace the spark plugs with Motorcraft SP-468 or NGK Iridiums (I believe). If you want to go with Motorcraft for plugs, look for the thread I made recently with an eBay link for the plug pretty cheap.

If you inspect the brakes, I would pull the caliper off and grease the slide pins. I found one of my front slide pins was completely seized and I had to tap it out.

Routine maintenance on these cars isn't really any different than other cars.
