A buddy of mine just got his hands on a brand new 2004 Tahoe. Beautiful truck, for a great price. I want to make sure this truck gets the best care, so I am going to make a list of routine maintenance that should be done from the start. I have a list below of things to do, and mileage I think it should be done. Any help or input would be great. Also, additives to put in the car (like sea foam), when to add it, and how to add it would be great.

Things to do:
Oil/filter
Drive train lube
Radiator fluid
Power steering fluid
Fuel filter
Air filter
Spark plugs
Plug Wires
Tranny fluid/filter/gasket
Differential/transfer case fluid and gasket
PCV valve
Tire rotation
Shocks/Struts
Bushing lube
Brake pads
Brake rotors
Brake calipers
Brake fluid
Brake line/parking brake inspection
Hoses – radiator, power steering, vacuum
Wiper blades
Door/window seal silicone treatment
Door/lift gate hinge lube
Seat motor/rails lube
Thermostat/gasket

Every:
5000 – Oil filter Amsoil, top off with oil
10000 – Air filter, chassis lube, door lube, bushing lube, seat motor/rail lube, PCV valve, Full oil change w/ filter using Amsoil, tire rotation
15000 – Wiper blades, sea foam: half in tank, half in intake

oops sorry i didnt notice it was for a tahoe.

Make sure they use the parking brake once a week or it will begin to stick after a long while

Use the 4x4 and the air conditioning every month to make sure it stays in working order.
