To all the LVC gods.....

I have a 2003 ls, V8, 120,000mi. And I have a problem...

When my lincoln is cold (ie. sat longer than 4 hours since it has been run) I will start it up to go somewhere, and it has a hesitation at minimal throttle to the point it sounds like it will cut out.. If I give it more throttle it will smooth out and run fine.

It also has a bit of a lag when warm and you mash the gas away from a stop light. But if I drive normal it seems ok... Please help if you can....

Step 1: Replace all COPs (ignition coils) and spark plugs. *

This will resolve your symptoms most of the time. This is also a very common LS problem.

*: If your 2003 LS was first sold or placed into service later than February 2003 and you have less than 100K miles, a Ford/Lincoln dealer will stress test the coils and replace any that fail at no charge. If none fail (some will, count on it), then you will have to pay about $100/$200. Also since it is an 03, they will replace the valve cover gaskets if they find oil in the plug wells, if this has not already been done under warranty.

There is only one LS god and he goes by the name of "joegr"
