Rims

Has anyone bought rims from an online store before or do you guys normally go to a local shop? Can I trust online stores?
I want to get 20s for my car, do any of you guys with 20s have any rubbing issues?
Also, what else, if anything, do I need to do if I get a set of rims? Do I need an alignment or anything as well?
Ive never had rims before so im just trying to make sure i know what im doing for I get them. Thanks in advance for the help.
