Sorry for another wheel question, but I haven't seen too much discussion on rim width, mostly diameter.

What rim width (front and rear) can the LS handle without the need for fender rolling?

I am considering widening my stock 17" 5-spoke rims out to 8.5 or 9 inches on the rear, and possibly 8 or 8.5 inches on the front.

I currently run 245/45x17 tires on my lowered (Eibach) LS.

I have a line on the necessary wheel spacers for this since the additional width will be done on the inside of the rim.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

It all comes down to offset, with a proper offset you can go 8.5" wide on the fronts and 9.5" in the rear.

Being lowered is a tough call. 8" is about all you can do in the front and about 9" in the back.

But once again anythig can be done with the proper offset on the wheel.
