Sunday I will be rewiring my front speakers and was wondering what everybody did? Is it easier to push the wires through the factory door rubber loom into the driver's side kick panel or from kick panel into the loom through the door? I've read the write ups but no real descriptions of the best way to run the wires. The rears were a piece of cake though.

hmmm. i can't remember which way i went.
i do remember using a coat hanger to pull the wires through though.
and it wasn't difficult.

I remember doing it both ways, if the hanger is tough going in one way try the other.. Don't start jamming it in there until it goes through, be gentle and find the sweet spot.

Once you have both wires through the grommets, remove the panel under the steering wheel and the black panel under the dash on the passenger side. Then just run them towards the h/u while ziptieing along the way.

i have went both ways and personally found it easier to go from inside the door. and i do alot of audio installs and have found it safer to use a long heavyduty zip-tie rather then a coat hanger. big chance of scratching random wires open using a coat hanger plus a big zip tie is more flexible but thin and rigid enough to push thru.

+1

That's what I use when running wires for the car. I use the long zipties used for hvac ductwork. They work great running wires under the carpet also.

no problem guys any audio questions trust me ill chime in. lol imma true basshead one of these days ill get pics n vids up of my car
