resonator help?!

i own a lincoln ls v6
what is a resonator?
can i take it off?
will it hurt my mpg or performance?

In the upper right hand corner, there is a search feature. It works very well and you will avoid this type of razzing, but it is kind of fun right?

There is a ton of posts about resonators. Most recently a couple of days ago. Actually, I was reminded of the search feature, because of my question about a "muffler delete" which now includes a resonator discussion. haha....

Haha that happened to me too. It takes a little to get used to. Start by clicking on LS Forum then when you look at the page count in the upper right hand corner there is an arrow pointing down click on that type resonator hit enter your jaw will drop and wonder if everyone askes about exhausts lol
