Reset cabin air filter message????

All, I cannot reset my cabin air filter message. Every time I hold down the reset button, it just goes to the next menu. Tried disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes. No luck. Any suggestions? I can reset the fuel mileage and oil life no problem, but not the cabin air filter. Uhg!

I guess it's been a while since this has come up.

Get warning about cabin filter. Press and release RESET to make it go away.
Press (and release) STATUS to get the status messages.
When the cabin filter message comes up, press RESET. It will now prompt you. Release RESET, then press and hold RESET until it says cabin filter at 100%.

Got it! Can't tell you how many times I tried every which way to get it to reset. Even followed the manual instructions, which I'm sure is what Joe's advise mostly is, but to no avail. This morning I got it on my third attempt!
Funny the small things that can mess you up. I can rebuild a car from the frame up, but reset a stupid air cabin filter???? FAIL!!!

Thanks guys. No more hitting that reset button every time I get in the car anymore!!!

lol, I remember this little Fn dilemma all too well.
Same routine for resetting the oil notification message.
