how do i get this damned light out?! and anyone know what size it is?
Replacing side view mirrors under light.

I tried, broke it... and by the magic of my hands it now sits in there snug probably being held in by the wires after much twisting.. From what I heard you cant replace it beause Ford/Lincoln only sells the mirror n not the light...
However im hoping in my wrong so i can put a white LED in there!!!!

IIRC, someone at LLSOC managed to swap the bulbs in the outside mirrors, but it took a lot of work. When I got my 06 car, I wanted to do this too, but it was too much hassle. I settled for swapping the license plate bulbs, cuz those were EZ to do.
That was me, Todd, with my 2003. I ended up breaking both lenses off and having to epoxy them back on. The bulb is a simple wedge style but I don't remember the number.
In my opinion it's too much of a hassle and not worth it. But it can be done. The lenses are not meant to be removed, but can be opened if you break the mounting tabs and snap them off. Just try not break the lens itself into a dozen little pieces.
