Hello all,

Decided that it's time to spruce up the appearance of my '01 V8 a little and to start with replacing the stock 17" 5-spoke chrome wheels that are in pretty rough shape (chrome peeling, not really shiny, etc.)

The tires on there are still in excellent shape and I'm quite happy to stick with 17" wheels. I was wondering what aftermarket rims do you folks recommended that will allow me to transfer the tires over?

Please keep in mind that I'm a complete tire n00b and don't know the first thing about sizes, offsets, etc. :P

Thanks!

Well I would start by searching tire rack. Sounds like you wanna keep it in factory specs so that would be a good way to start off.

Other than that lots of places do offer good combo deals on wheels with tires if you do wanna go outside the circle. That way you have 2 complete sets and the stockers can be used in winter time.

Matters what you want besides size...I would suggest Antera and MOZ wheels as far as getting great quality forged wheels

Thanks for the fast replies guys! I guess what I'm looking for is comparable appearances (subjective I know) and reasonable affordability.

Oh you know what? Since you like your stock specs you could just upgrade appearance b ygetting one of the many OEM sets offered.
There is quite a few and my personal favorite of the group is these...

As far as price lots of people here that go with aftermarkets put sets up for sale. You can find em on ebay also.
