Replaced VCG and still have a rough idle.. 02 V-8

Had one coil bad previous to doing VCG and had replaced it... knew the VCGs were bad but had to just did coil until I could get to VCGs.

Just funished them. CEL in on and got the code pulled and it read 3506 ignition coil f malfunction(missfire)

I assumed coil f was #6.. which I relaced. Still running like crap at idle... and CEL is still on..

any ideas?

General consensus here is that the CEL light is often incorrect in telling you which coil is actually bad. Most effective method has been to order all 8 new coils for under $175 total on ebay, and replace them all yourself. Along with new plugs while you are at it. That usually cures it 90% of the time.Global Automotive was the ebay vendor I had success with

now I have the same P0356 code and also a P0113 code... any help?


could not find any Global Automotive.. did find Global Trading... is that who you meant?
