Well I replaced the solenoid pack because thats what the majority of people have said to do for my 1744 code. Welll after 5 minutes of driving check trans and E came back up. I should have replaced the valve body while I was in there.

My fluid seemed pretty darn dirty for 65000 miles. Here are some pictures.

Where are you going to get your valve body? I emailed valvebodybuilders.com and their $450 seems higher than a new one (if I recall correctly...)

What were your symptoms before it threw the code?

The car is running fine after about 10 minutes of driving the check transmission light will come on, but I cannot feel anything wrong what so ever. The code says tc stuck off. I Donnot know where I will find a valve body.

:D I have one sitting for the right person to need it...and I know it works. I could even rebuild it with a Trans-Go kit if the price was right. PM me if you are interested.

As for the pan, it is dirty, but not too bad or anything I would be real worried about.
